Press release - message from Dominique Rawlings

The work of Hampshire EMLD is being described in a new book published by Trentham Ltd. The book should be out in April. Please see the release attached for more details.

Also the EMLD project, has developped a short film called "I put my foot down", about two people from BME background with learning disabilities. The aim of this film is to explain the terms 'learning disability' in a positive way but also to serve as a starting point for discussion or debate; it could also be used as part of  muticultural awareness training for self/advocacy groups. If you are interested in using it that way or would like more details on the film, including booking a presentation for your group, please contact Mrs Dominique Rawlings at dominique.rawlings@hants.gov.uk
